Balancing old and new has long been a forte of designer Richard Mishaan, who has now partnered with SA Baxter to create his first line of architectural hardware. Inspirations range from Art Deco cuff links to ancient Chinese cloisonne. Says Mishaan, "The process reminded me of Florence, with all the jewelers working by hand on the Ponte Vecchio."
